Brian just got back from a weather intense trip around the icy/snowy/cold Midwest to find fresh inventory. It was a super productive four day trip and we met up with a number of great people who help us to keep the store full. A lot of these items are in now available with many more coming in from the workshop as they get refinished and restored. Stop on by to see or let us know if you are looking for something specific!
Jesse Petersen (Sequel Vintage) has a unique ability to find/restore absolutely stunning items like these shown above. It is always exciting to see Jesse walk in with something he recently finished and listen to the details of how he found it, what was needed to restore it, and why he chose to put effort in to this thing above other things. Those choices, a specific effort put in to an intentional edit of the built environment, appreciation for beauty in things that most will glance past, the skill to bring that beauty back, his passion for his finds and his process are all just some of the reasons he is unique. You would have to travel far and look really hard to find someone who can compete with his skill. We know, we tried and couldn’t. Fortunately we are friends and he agreed to be our first collaborator, before that was even a thing we did. That was over seven years ago! So, please take some time and look closely at his collection in the store located through the arch next to the records. And Jesse, cheers!
Items in the picture are available: Steelcase Barrister, 12 Drawer Cabinet, MN Relief Map, Blue Steelcase Chair
A stunning classic design made by Falster. Top is separate from the bottom for easier moving. Currently available here and in store.
State of the Art MPLS just finished a fully restoration on this interpretation of the iconic lounge chair of mid century design. (sold)
Yeah, this is new! We are excited to have the opportunity to spend a lot more focus on this website and will be making updates regularly with news, recent images of the storefront, updates from our travels, and...inventory! The last bit is the toughest part, but we are committed to working hard to keep up with things as they come in. While we are working towards having everything up here for sale, we have thousands of items in the store and have to decide what to post here and what to leave out. So that is our first question for you...what do you want to see? Thanks for following our work, it means a lot.
Here's where you can keep up to date on what's happening around the shop and on our travels as we hunt for fresh inventory.
