Findfurnish Shipping & Delivery Policy

We offer both shipping and local delivery for many of our items. Because of the nature of what we sell—vintage, large, and often one-of-a-kind objects—each delivery is handled with special care. This policy outlines what you can expect and what we ask in return.


1. Local Delivery (Twin Cities Metro)

  • We provide local delivery within the Twin Cities metro area using our in-house team or trusted partners.

  • Delivery costs typically range from $50–$150, based on distance, item complexity, and scheduling.

  • Most deliveries occur within 10 days of purchase unless otherwise arranged.

  • We’ll coordinate with you via phone or email to schedule a delivery window.

  • You (or someone on your behalf) must be present to receive and acknowledge the item.


2. National Shipping

  • We ship smaller items (e.g., lighting, small decor, artwork) via insured carriers like USPS, UPS, or FedEx.

  • Larger items (e.g., furniture) may be shipped via freight, white glove delivery, or a custom courier. We're happy to work with your carrier or recommend one we trust.

  • Shipping quotes are provided on a case-by-case basis and must be approved before shipment.


3. Packaging & Handling

  • All items are packed with care using materials and methods appropriate for vintage and fragile objects.

  • We often use recycled or reused packaging when available. It’s better for the planet—and still protective.


4. Shipping Damage

  • If your item arrives damaged, contact us within 24 hours with clear photos and documentation.

  • If you'd like insurance, please let us know in advance—it's not automatic.

  • Claims must be filed by the buyer directly and follow the policies of the shipping provider. We’ll do our best to assist, but responsibility for claims lies with the buyer.


5. Storage & Pickup

  • If you prefer to pick up your item in person, we’ll gladly hold it for up to 14 days at no charge.

  • Extended storage may incur a fee unless arranged in advance.

  • Items not picked up within 30 days may be considered abandoned. With communication, we’ll do our best to be flexible—but unclaimed items may be donated or resold. Please don’t leave things with us without a plan. We're not set up for long-term storage.


6. Things to Know

  • Shipping and delivery fees are non-refundable.

  • We are not responsible for delays caused by third-party carriers.

  • Once an item is shipped or delivered, all sales are final (see our [All Sales Final Policy]).
